Dulcimer Grove Crew Job Description
Dulcimer Grove is a small and intimate stage which presents music for youngsters. It is the only stage for which Production supplies the sound system. Dulcimer Grove Crew sets it up in the morning, it is used for the Dulcimer Grove workshops, and then taken down and put away on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. At 9:00 in the morning, the Dulcimer Grove crew packs up the sound system and carries or carts it down to Dulcimer Grove, which is a short distance.
- Each crew member should practice safety, both for yourself and for the equipment, paying attention to your surroundings and being careful if you are moving around attendees.
- It’s important to have work boots or shoes that will protect your toes. Gloves are also helpful for a better grip.
- You will follow the crew supervisor’s directions during load in and load out.
In the Dulcimer Grove, the crew sets up the sound system and makes sure it is functioning properly.
Once the system is sound checked and the stage manager approves of the setup, the crew is free to leave. At the end of the workshops in Dulcimer Grove for the day, the crew returns and takes the system down and brings it back to the Production Office under Main Stage.
The hours for the Dulcimer Grove crew for Fest 2024 are:
Friday: 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and 2:20 – 3 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and 3:50 – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and 2:50 – 3:30 p.m.
